Insulation recyclability
The Mil-tek IC60 is a compactor for insulation. It shreds and compacts mineral wool and stone wool, which are commonly used in the insulation of buildings and homes. Used insulation can be top-loaded into the machine through a big aperture.
The material is compressed into a fine powder by a huge screw conveyor, removing the layered memory and enabling for dense compaction. The IC60 is designed to fit into a regular shipping container and includes various built-in safety features, such as safety sensors to safeguard users and particle filters to remove glass dust.
The IC60 can compress more than 500kg of mineral wool per hour, and the compressed material loads straight into a flexible bulk bag (large bag), making transportation simple. Mineral wool compressed can be recycled without further processing.
